The musical horn in a blue bird consists of three parts. The head you see in the dash, the brain (whose location varies by model/year), and the horns. The brain is silver and slightly larger than a pack of cigarettes with a ribbon cable running to it.
Confirmed Wanderlodge Horn "Brain Box" locations
Year | Model(s) | Location |
---|---|---|
86 | FC | Behind the wall just in front of the passenger seat. It was easier to access from behind the passenger side panel out side... it sat on a shelf ... The key is to look for the ribbon cable going/comming to the box itself. What ever you do be careful with the ribbon wire/cable it is probably the most fragile part of the whole thing. |
93-94 | WB40 | Located behind the front access panel (over generator) and is above and to the right of the passenger side head light. It's on top of the heater and has a flat ribbon cable attached to it. |
2000 | LXI | Is located behind the door above the stair well with the passenger foot rest attached to it. Once you open the door, it is behind the fuse board. 4 screws should detach the fuse board. |
